Stacey started Crossfit in the summer of 2008. She was working as a personal trainer and was looking for more dynamics ways to train her clients. She kept hearing about CrossFit and decided it was time to check it out for some ideas - she never intended to actually do it. Stacey was intimidated to go to a class alone, so she recruited her sister. The CrossFit reputation was sheer madness, and her sister was not willing to go. After months of convincing, she finally agreed to go. They went to a free trial class at the only box in Boston at the time, CrossFit Boston, and what happened next forever changed her life. After the workout the owner offered her an internship as a coach and a free membership for her and her sister if she said yes. As they say, the rest is history - neither of them have ever looked back!
How has CrossFit changed your life? "CrossFit has allowed me to create a life where I feel fulfilled. I have established amazing relationships, have the ability to directly affect and change people's lives, challenge myself on a physical level that I never knew possible, and have tapped into an unwavering passion. I love my job as a CrossFit Coach, and I am so thankful that I have this opportunity in life. Waking up at 4 in the morning is not a chore, it is a chance to make myself and everyone I come in contact with better."
Philosophy on training and life: "If you are going to do something, don't just do it; do it really really well."
