Bailey started Crossfit through a site called Groupon where she received a great deal a college kid could afford. She wanted to get better at obstacle races so she researched ways to make herself fitter besides constantly running up an down hills and classic circuit training at my schools gym. she stepped into my first crossfit class wearing flip flops and had to do "baseline" after that it was like everyone elses reason for coming back, she was challenged and she wanted more. She spent a few months at the gym she first started at doing some work for them in exchange for membership. She traveled around to different gyms in the Philly area to get a feel for the community and found another gym she wanted to spend most of my time at. The folks at the gym were super nice and let her train with them and through them she was introduced to Crossfit Milford. When she got a job that relocated her to the CT area she immediately moved to Milford despite her job being quite a ways away. Training at CFM with the people she now calls family, has made her truly understand what community is. "I have never met a bunch that has been so kind and supportive towards me while also pushing me to my every limit!"

"Crossfit has completely changed my life - for the better obviously! I dont have the privilege to coach at the moment like many athletes, but I am constantly around like minded individuals who keep me learning and growing. I definitely didnt have the mental fortitude that I do now that has helped me with other successes in my life and thats all thanks to Crossfit."

Long and short term goals - "Become a bigger part of or start my own community of Crossfitters. I really want to help people and changes their lives through fitness, health, or just helpful advice. I want to make big impacts on others in this life and hopefully make people happy. Happy people make other people happy and so on and so fourth. As for short terms, Id love to first qualify as an individual in the 2016 regionals and then make it onto the Games. Here's hoping!"
